Community Health Worker

Tracie Mason returned to AccessHealth Spartanburg in January 2024 to serve as a Community Health Worker.  She previously worked with AHS from 2016-2020. 

As a Community Health Worker, Tracie connects clients to community resources such as primary care physicians, mental health services, and free mail order prescriptions. She is a frontline liaison between clients and community partners working to improve health outcomes for uninsured Spartanburg county residents.  Prior to working with AccessHealth Spartanburg, Tracie worked in several different roles within Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System including the Centralized Referral Center, Imaging Services, Medical Records, and most recently Regional HealthPlus, as a CHW for Center for Family Medicine Spartanburg and Chesnee. 

Tracie has 21 years of combined service with SRHS and became a certified Community Health Worker in 2018 and is a 2019 graduate of the Grassroots Leadership Development Institute. Tracie completed a BA in Information Management and Systems at USC-Upstate and a MAT in English at Converse College. Tracie is a native of Spartanburg County and resides in Inman with her family.  In her spare time, she enjoys road trips, painting, drawing, and mostly spending time with her family.
